Prof. Richard Barker is a world-renowned leader in healthy longevity, therapeutics, diagnostics, and medical informatics, specializing in precision health. With a distinguished 40-year career spanning leadership roles at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, IBM, and McKinsey, he brings a strategic perspective to shaping the future of healthcare. His current focus includes advancing AI-driven medical decision-making and addressing the critical challenges of extending healthspan equitably for global populations.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Prof. Barker serves as a visiting professor in Precision Population Health at King’s College London. He is deeply committed to not-for-profit initiatives, including the responsible development of AI and addressing mental health challenges among displaced communities. As a co-founder and board member of 2BWell, he supports innovative mental health solutions for Ukrainians.

Beyond his work, Prof. Barker finds inspiration as an avid mountain hiker and world traveler, exploring diverse cultures and landscapes that inform his visionary approach to global health.
